Kids say the funniest things

I've been sitting at the computer doing a little online window shopping while Isaac and Mimi play in the other room (which is so wonderful when it happens). Isaac is playing with his blocks and Amelia did something apparently she wasn't supposed to (I didn't quite catch what) and then I hear Isaac say "Amelia, no! You go tell your mother about this." I about died laughing. It reminded me of this morning when Amelia and I were at Ikea (Isaac was in the playroom, hurray for Ikea) I reached out to touch something and Amelia prompting said "No-no, no touching momma". She continued to do this everytime I touched something, much to the delight of those around us. I finally did as I was told and stopped touching. Kids - so funny. I can't wait until Christmas when we have a whole house full of toddlers, should be very entertaining.

Thought I would quickly add a few new photos and videos (thanks Jamie). The first is Amelias first time in pigtails. Yes they are alittle small but, her hair has grown enough to almost style it. Note all of her teeth.
The second photo is of all the items the plumber found in our toilet, yes our toilet. Isaac thought he would see what could go down that fun drain hole. Apparently, one large blue comb, a tube of toothpaste, a childs toothbrush and a foam sanding block all will make it through. Amazing.
I also added a few videos now that I know how to do it. One is Isaac biking around our house. He can go in circles for an hour. Brett discovered that Amelia likes to share in the action as well. I love it, keeps them busy.
The last two videos are of Amelia being silly. She has begun to ask us to "watch this" and will show us something she has been trying out, such as strange sounds. Notice that she is watching t.v. part way through and forgets what she is doing, also that she hits the camera at the end. Too funny.
The second is Amelia singing her favorite song. I'm not quite sure what happended at the end but, I thought it was pretty fun. Enjoy.

Amazing Finds

Hello Everyone!

It's definately been awhile since I last updated our blog. I find it hard to do when the kids are awake because they seem to always find something "creative" to do when I'm on the computer. Funny how you don't have to be directly interacting with children and they will be fine knowing your around, but, get on the phone or computer and they go crazy. Atleast in my house.
I'm not really sure where to begin with what has been going on here. We have a great summer. It flew by though. We had fun in B.C. with Brett's family, boating, swimming and relaxing. Isaac asks me atleast once a week if we can go to B.C. He really loved it. I'm sad to report though that fall is happening quickly here. Don't get me wrong I love fall. The change in leaves, the crisp breeze, pulling on a cozy sweater - all wonderful events. It just seems to happen so early and change so quickly here. Very few Indian summer days. We had trees changing color (almost all yellow)in August, which is still summer in my book. Now most days are a bit chilly and make me scared of a long winter ahead.
We are working to finish our house which is long overdue. It seems for us living in a house we are renovating is not the best idea since projects always get put off for other work. So, we have been painting and finishing up some outside work, and hopefully completely the interior shortly. Anyone want to come up and help me stage this house? We always welcome visitors and I hear the skiing is great in our mountains.
