Wow! I just realized that the last post I put up was almost a year ago, sorry, I guess I've been a little busy. As you all know little Abigail joined our family on September 19th. She came a little late but all went well with her arrival. She looks a lot like me other children, in fact I just found some photos of Amelia at three months and I would only know the difference because Abigail had different lips. She is a pudgy, happy little girl that we all adore. Isaac and Mimi can't seem to get enough of her (something I thought would fade with a little time) and smother her with hugs and kisses whenever they get a chance. Abigail smiles all the time and has begun to make cute little laughs. I was nervous about adding a new baby to the bunch but, she really makes it easy. She first slept through the night at six weeks, a bit earlier than her siblings. She rarely fusses and is easily soothed when she does. I feel extremely grateful to have been blessed with such a sweet little girl. Heavenly Father really does give us what we need.

Isaac is getting huge. I don't know when he turned into a little boy instead of a toddler. He goes to preschool two days a week and loves it. He learned to ride a two wheel bike at the beginning of the summer (after his training wheels kept falling off) and he is amazingly good at it. He rides up and down the curb, jumps down the hill in front of our house, goes off roading and can ride with one hand. Isaac can write most of his letters now and is learning to sound out words. He is still as energetic as ever and wears me out easily but, he is cuddly, loves his sisters and tells them they are beautiful and is a willing helper to me whenever needed. He loves superheros even though he has never seen any movies with them in and doesn't really know what they do, go figure.

Amelia has grown about two inches since summer I think. She loves playing dress-up with Isaac. She constantly entertains us with her funny remarks. For example yesterday when she was getting dressed she asked for her green shirt. When I proceeded to hand it to her she said "exactly what I needed". She is doing great potty training (I know it's late but, I was lazy) and only occasionally has accidents now. Yesterday when I knew she has had and accident but the offending smell I asked if she had had an accident and she responded "yes indeed". One more quick story, a week or so ago I was sneaking some chocolate while the kids at lunch at the table. Amelia turned around and caught me in the act of placing one in my mouth. She smiled at me then winked and nodded as if to tell me that she's got my back. It was the funniest thing ever, if only I had a video camera attached to me at all times to catch the silly things my kids do.

I have been busy trying to organize our home and lives more. Brett has been painting and tiling and I have been trying to make our home prettier. It will get there someday. I dream of being one of those organized people who never forgets a birthday, knows where everything is and can invite someone into their home at any given moment and not die of embarrassment. As it is I can't post any photos because I can't find my USB port, I have yesterdays dishes in the sink because I wasted time surfing the net yesterday (in my defence we haven't had a computer for over a month)and there is a pile of laundry (clean, at least) on my couch. There are days you're on top and days you're not, oh well.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. To bad we live so far apart. Anyone up for a reunion this summer? Love you all.

Cora, This is Brittany, Jen's friend that does the infant eye masks that she blogged about. Just to let you know I have a website and I would definitely be able to ship to Canada. Let me know if you want me to send any out.

You have such a sweet family!
